The ideas behind our name
Meet Benedetto Cotrugli.
Known in Croatian as Benedikt Kotruljević, Cotrugli placed the merchant’s character alongside the practical work of doing business.
His work considers trade, financial practice, education, reputation and the responsibilities that accompany commercial life. COTRUGLI Business School takes its name from him and continues the conversation about how business leaders learn, judge and act.
This reading edition preserves the historical text. Its language and views belong to its period; contemporary reflections are presented separately.
